This may be one of the most useful sentence patterns when traveling.
It is “어디예요?” (uh-dee-yeh-yo).
You can use it when you want to ask where something is.
This one is really easy too.
In Korean, the place or thing you are asking about usually comes before “어디예요?” (uh-dee-yeh-yo).
So you can simply say:
[place] + 어디예요? (uh-dee-yeh-yo)
The common full pattern is:
~은 / 는 / 이 / 가 어디예요? (uh-dee-yeh-yo)
“은 / 는 / 이 / 가” are Korean particles.
Which one you use depends on whether the word before it has a final consonant, called “받침” (bat-cheem), or not.
This is beginner-level Korean grammar, but we are not studying grammar deeply right now.
So in this conversation practice, we will skip the particles.
Koreans often drop particles in everyday conversation, so do not worry.😉

You will probably use this at least once in Korea.
